Could someone please recommend a hiking or running sandal that would be appropriate for a 60 mile charity walk? I need a sandal since I can't tolerate pressure on my toenails - a major problem for me on last years walk. Appearance is not important, only comfort. I was considering Teva, which has a sandal called Cynder. Any others? I need a nice cushiony heel, arch support, and I would be wearing socks with these sandals.
