Wool Socks! The first thing that comes to mind is itchy! Many of us remember and dreaded those socks that our mother or grandmother used to knit. They were itchy and always falling down such that you had some form of sock garter to hold them up. Either that or they were mass produced but with exactly the same characteristics except Tom and Dave also had them so at least you all sufferred together.
