Im goin to ccamp for 5 weeks. I run a lot at camp but not training kind

Buy socks that don't have any cotton in them at all. I bought these really nice comfy socks, they're made of bamboo, nylon, polyester, and some other stuff, but just make sure there's no cotton in them b/c it holds up moisture causing blisters and runner's foot. Also, I just bought Saucony running shoes at Dick's sporting goods. I tried them on with Asics which are also really nice, but the Saucony were a bit cheaper and everyone there said they're just as good. I LOVE them though, the best shoes I've ever had.

To get faster, run 2-5 miles everyday or every other day (the days in between, do fartlek or sprints) and use the weekends to recover: 10 min walk, 10 min jog, 10 min walk. Good luck!
